Job Description & Responsibilities:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team in a role focused on supporting transportation operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately creating orders, initiating shipments, tracking deliveries, managing invoicing, and handling various transportation-related operational tasks.
  • Providing shipment details, building and assigning loads, scheduling appointments, and updating shipment statuses.
  • Monitoring task boards and designated email inboxes to promptly respond to inquiries from customers and carriers.
  • Recording events in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Ensuring all customer and carrier requests are followed through to resolution, with a focus on delivering excellent service.
  • Validating shipment data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and customer standards.
  • Performing additional duties as required, in alignment with team or location-specific needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service call center or within the transportation/logistics industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams, as well as the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team player mindset.
  • Must be able to pass a background check including verification of education and employment history.

  • Pay range: $21-22 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Location: Eden Prairie
  • Duration: Contract-to-hire
